Former Firnew Artist: Carole Pivarnik

My work focuses on companion animals, rural life, and the land, and seeks to foster a greater appreciation for their role in our hearts, minds, and society.  I work primarily in watercolor and gouache, occasionally adding oil wax pastels, graphite, or other mediums to my mix.  My artistic style is shifting toward abstract realism as I seek to express more of my emotional response to the world around me in my work.
